This lap is simply epic. I think he he doing more countersteering than actual steering (you know what I mean). That oversteer through Eau Rouge/Radillon - o_o, but that oversteer through Blanchimont - O_O.

Track map, for reference:

Any people say drifting through every corner isn't fast...HA!

On a side note, this guy can drive. Not just car control, but shifting, heel-toe, managing passing without losing his speed. He is what 911s were built for.

The guy doesn't understand what all the fuss about "drifting" and "sideways" is all about. This is him on a routine trip to the mall in his street car:

It's not really drifting, that's why it's fast. He's running a loose setup so that the slip can be used to rotate the car easier and not push. Drifting he would have come out of line, which he didn't do (intentionally), and he actually did and amazing job of using the slip to line up apexes or moves he was looking to make while keeping pace.

That looked like an absolute blast... but I can't imagine driving like that for many laps. You would be exhausted (I got tired just watching it).

This is Pascal Pandelaar, driving a customer's car in 2009 during the Spa Six Hours event. The car is a 1965 2.0 911 swb. producing around 180hp, the reason it's sliding this much is because they can only use Dunlop radial classic racing tyres in this class. Some of the cars he's overtaking produce well over 300hp
